Tonight’s job

Thornfield Hall

Take a jewelled snuffbox from the south strong room of Thornfield Hall, behind a locked door off the hall, then leave by the front door. One guard walks the hall end to end; another does the rounds of the rooms. Torchlight gives you away; the dark between the torches does not.

• Tap or clickto walk
• Crouchin the dark
• Holdto pick the lock

After Thief (Looking Glass, 1998): light and sound are what guards read, and so can you.
