Plot Nineteen
≈ 4 min
You're reviewing three therapy-session transcripts from the same patient, recorded across consecutive weeks. Somewhere in them, a plain factual detail contradicts something stated in an earlier session. Your task: identify (a) which session holds the contradicting statement and (b) what that contradiction reveals, choosing from the options below. This is a puzzle, told with care — the patient is entirely invented, and the mismatch you're looking for is a concrete factual one, not a reading of mood or tone.
The scene
A man in his mid-forties who has held an allotment for two years, using the weekend digging as an anchor while working through a creeping estrangement from his younger brother.
