Side B

4 min

You're reviewing three therapy-session transcripts from the same patient, recorded across consecutive weeks. Somewhere in them, a plain factual detail contradicts something stated in an earlier session. Your job: find (a) which session contains the contradicting statement, and (b) what it reveals. This is a puzzle, told with care. The patient is entirely invented; the mismatch is a concrete factual detail, not a mood or a feeling to interpret.

The scene

A man in his mid-thirties trying to pick up amateur DJing again after letting the hobby slide for nearly three years, while adjusting to his first year of living alone.
