The Secret in the Ganache
≈ 4 min
Dulcet & Crane's award-winning ganache formula — including a classified single-origin cacao blend and temperature curve — was found in the possession of rival firm Haverstock Confections last week. Prosecution contends that Petra Voss photographed the laminated formula cards kept inside the locked Formula Binder during her overnight shift on the night of 10 July 2026. The binder's combination lock was not forced, suggesting the person who opened it knew the four-digit code, which only three staff members hold. Petra denies ever opening the binder or leaving the tempering floor that night. The jury must decide whether Petra Voss is guilty of stealing the proprietary formulas.
