Between last light on Friday and the 06:00 Saturday technical inspection, competitor vehicle No. 7 — a Group N rally car entered by driver Saskia Mäkinen — was found disabled. The fuel feed line had been partially separated at the engine bay junction, and the car could not start under its own power.
