Specimen illustrator Carys Bowen has reported that a set of six hand-inked tide-pool survey prints — destined for a university monograph — were forged and passed to the press as originals, while the genuine prints were removed from the station archive. Station director Dr. Iolo Mace has asked forensic investigator Seren Pryce to reconstruct exactly when the fakes were produced, artificially aged, and substituted into the archive folder. Pryce must place six events in the precise order the physical and biological evidence demands. The display below shows the events in jumbled order — your task is to restore the true sequence.
