When quality assessor Bram Osei arrived to score the morning's test batches, he found the corkboard above slab three swept bare of its notes — all except one small card, pressed face-down into a thin film of dark chocolate that had pooled and set overnight. The card bore a short message in neat capitals, and none of the four regular staff would admit to leaving it.
