When parlour owner Greti Sands came in early to tally the weekend takings, she found the supplier invoice drawer left open and a short handwritten note pressed flat beneath the petty-cash tin. The note is written in block capitals and makes no immediate sense — but someone clearly wanted it hidden where only staff would look.
