Cornelius Marlowe died on 14 March 1887, leaving a sizeable estate. His solicitor, Edmund Pryce, has filed a probate inventory schedule listing the personal effects and financial instruments found at Marlowe House. The Probate Registry has referred the schedule to auditors after a family member raised concern that certain items may be misstated.
